Ambassador and Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter

Ambassador and Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter attended the University of California at Berkeley, receiving his A.B. in Psychology in 1983. Continuing his education and passion for healthcare, Dr. Gunter attended the Keck School of Medicine at USC, receiving his M.D. and graduating with honors in his clinical years in 1987. Dr. Gunter completed his residency in dermatology at the LAC/USC Medical Center in 1991, where he served as the chief resident of dermatology. Dr. Gunter served as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the LAC/USC Medical Center where he taught physicians, residents, and medical students dermatology. Dr. Gunter is board-certified in dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.

Mary Ann Piskun, MD is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr Piskun is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon.  She has extensive training and experience in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.  She has retired from the surgical area of practice and now does injectables and other non-surgical procedures.  She wants to provide you with subtle but effective confidence-building results.  No frozen faces here!

She offers Botox injections to reduce facial lines.  She also does a variety of filler treatments to plump up hollow or deficient areas.  Phenol or TCA peels are also offered to improve aging and sun-damaged skin.

When not in the clinic, she is staying active with pilates and does needlepoint and knitting to keep her hands busy.

Peter Wolff, MSN, NP-C graduated from South University in Georgia with academic honors, and he completed his Master’s Degree in Nursing. During his undergraduate studies in Florida, he was presented the prestigious “Who’s Who Among Students” award, which signifies demonstrated leadership ability in the areas of scholastic aptitude, community service, and extracurricular activities during the college semesters. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, he has worked and specialized exclusively in dermatology.

Peter Wolff is state-licensed and nationally board certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is also a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. He is dedicated to providing both outstanding skincare and individualized attention to every one of his patients at the clinic.

Genie Salcido PA-C is a Texas Panhandle local who has a passion for helping patients in her community by striving to provide quality, professional, and caring dermatology services. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry from West Texas A&M University before completing her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from South University. She is NCCPA certified and is a member of the SDPA. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and loved ones, photography, music, and guitar.

Stephanie Macklin, MSN, NP-C earned her Bachelor of Nursing, Summa Cum Laude from West Texas A&M University in 2009. She completed her training as a Nurse Practitioner from West Texas A&M University in 2011. Stephanie joined Dr. Gunter’s team in October of 2014 and is enjoying every minute of it. Her passion is helping people and as a dermatology specialist, she is able to achieve this goal. “Stephanie is sharp, caring, and a great church and community leader, a very valuable asset for the Canyon community!” stated Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter, our founder.

The Texas Panhandle is where she has called home for over 20 years and knows that the people here are second to none. Stephanie and her husband have four wonderful children and four wonderful grandchildren. She is an active member at Hillside Christian Church. Stephanie Macklin is an active member of the Panhandle Nurse Practitioner Association. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Ashley Nutter, MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. She grew up in Central Texas where she was Valedictorian of her class at Mart High School before attending Texas A&M University in College Station. At Texas A&M, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition Sciences. While there, she also received the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean’s List Honor Roll award and was named an Aggie Research Scholar for her participation in scientific research at Texas A&M. Ashley earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

As a Central Texas local, Ashley Nutter currently provides dermatology services at the Waco, Gatesville, and Temple office locations. In her free time, Ashley also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Nicole Davila, MSN, APRN, NP-C is a state licensed and nationally board-certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her undergraduate degree at Hardin-Simmons University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After working years as a registered nurse, she went on to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University of St. Louis. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Abilene is where she has called home for over 15 years and believes the people here are one of a kind. Nicole enjoys reading, traveling and spending quality time with her daughter, family and friends. She is an active member of Beltway Park Church and enjoys serving her community. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care to her patients.

Berenice Fernandez, MSN, NP-C is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner licensed through the state of Texas and board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Nurse Practitioner, from Texas A&M University, and received her bachelor degree in nursing from Texas Tech University. With many years of experience as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, she has gained invaluable clinical knowledge and hands-on expertise, which have contributed to her compassionate and comprehensive approach to patient care.

Luzette is a bilingual, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of healthcare experience. As a proud Cuban American, she brings a warm, inclusive, and culturally sensitive approach to patient care.
She began her career in acute care, where she spent six years honing her clinical skills and building strong patient relationships. Driven by a passion for whole-person care, she earned her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has spent the past three years providing compassionate, evidence-based care in both medical and aesthetic dermatology.

Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, she is dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best, whether that means treating chronic skin conditions or offering rejuvenating cosmetic treatments.

Outside of the clinic, Luzette enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children. Together, they love exploring the outdoors, camping under the stars, and discovering new cuisines wherever they go.

Luzette is excited to be part of your skincare journey and looks forward to helping you achieve healthy, radiant skin.

Dayanelie Reyes is a bilingual and highly skilled Certified Physician Assistant with over nine years of clinical experience and a strong educational background. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and has developed a strong foundation in urgent care and orthopedic medicine. During her time in urgent care, she frequently evaluated and managed a variety of dermatologic conditions, which sparked her interest in pursuing dermatology more fully.

With a deep passion for helping patients look and feel their best, Dayanelie brings both skill and compassion to dermatology. Her clinical background, combined with her cultural awareness and patient-centered approach, allows her to deliver high-quality, inclusive care.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dayanelie values spending meaningful time with her family, fiancé, and their dogs. She and her fiancé share a passion for travel and are dedicated to growing stronger in their faith, nurturing their spiritual journey together.

Dayanelie is excited to be part of the Summit MD Dermatology team and looks forward to meeting new patients and colleagues, while continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in dermatologic care.

Shea Britten, CLP, MA is a certified laser specialist and trained clinical medical assistant. Shea joined our practice working alongside Dr. Jeffrey Ross Gunter, MD in 2015. She is currently the practice manager of SummitMD Dermatology locations in Texas, and coordinates all patient-related functions and business operations. Shea Britten is also a certified professional injector for Botox and fillers. “Shea is an invaluable asset and a tremendous leader for our practice.
